A little over three years ago, according to a report received here, www.apple.com was connected to the Internet.
As I recall, it was a Mac IIfx running MacHTTP 1.3, and the Mac IIfx continued in service for most of the rest of the year, if not longer.
Now, www.apple.com is still Mac OS, with at least fourteen active Macintosh Mac OS machines running at www.apple.com, www2.apple.com, and www4.apple.com
